Close to my Heart's You Tube page is so helpful!  They have uploaded several videos to help you "see" how to create with your Workshop Your way kits!  So far they have Charlotte and Penelope Workshops Your Way videos.  I have uploaded the video that shows how to complete the cards from this kit.  From there you can find all of the other videos.  If you need any help working your way through the videos, please let me know! If there are any products that you do not have to create with these kits, you can order them from "Shop with Me" to the right of this post.  We did just receive notification that the Springtime Wishes die cuts, shown in the Charlotte videos, has been retired due to an excess of orders for it and the Spring Critters will be out of stock before the end of the Seasonal catalog in April.  Please get that one ordered as soon as you can!!  You can always stamp and fussy cut if needed so you can still create these beautiful pages and cards!  They will be posting Regatta videos soon!!  Have fun!

I stamped the elephant and horse directly on the paper, but the monkey I did have to stamp and fussy cut.  I ended up making 30 of these and had plenty of paper left over.  The card is a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" size.

Happy New Year!  Have you made your 2016 resolutions?  Honestly, I have not.  I've been thinking about all of the things that I would normally set as my goals: lose weight, exercise (not more, just get started!), read more books, learn to cook, and so on.  Instead, I have been working on cleaning, painting and organizing my new scrapbook studio!  My only goal right now is to get it done so I can start playing with all of my new Close to my Heart toys!  The new book has so many fun products!  The new papers are amazing, as are all of the coordinating products!  We also have die cuts now!  They are spectacular!  So, instead of setting resolutions, I am going to finish my studio and then decide what I want to accomplish next and work on that until I have met that goal.  Setting too many goals at once is just too overwhelming to me and frustrating when I don't stick with the goals that I set!  Tomorrow I plan to also get started on my CTMH planner.  Using the new Picture My Life-Live Your Day cards, I think I will have a great start!  Watch the video below to see the new cards and a few ways you can put these cards to work for you!  This set of cards is only available during the month of January so be sure to place your order soon!

This month's stamp is so cute and fun! I created this card for my stamp of the month swap. I used white daisy card stock for the base, pear card stock for the mat and then white daisy card stock for the top. I sponged all edged with pear exclusive ink. I stamped the bouquet of flowers and mason jar from the Candlelight Garden stamp of the month. Using our ShinHan markers, I colored in the flowers and used a pink embellishment in the center of the large marigold colored flower. Next I painted the blue water in the bottom of the jar using our fun set of watercolor paints. Using 2 sheets of B&T papers from the Kaleidoscope packet, I cut out 2 squares from each piece so I could see the design on both sides. Altering the designs, I placed them on the base of the card to the right. I then added the stamped top to the pear paper and attached that to the left side of the card. I cut out a rectangle of white daisy paper paper, stamped "Thank You" cut the right end, sponged all edges and attached it to the front of the card. The coloring and painting took a little bit of time, but putting the card together took very little time!
